SoreGuide

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 30, 2026

This policy explains what SoreGuide ("this site") collects and how we use and protect it. By using this site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

What we collect

The core features work without an account. We only collect what the service directly needs:

Sign-in information (optional)

If you choose to sign in with Google, the authentication service stores your email, display name and avatar to identify your account; the session is kept in a browser cookie and cleared when you sign out. The description and recommendation features also work without signing in.

Symptom descriptions and answers

The soreness descriptions and follow-up answers you type are sent to an AI model service to generate the analysis. This content is never written to our database; the temporary copy in your browser expires and is cleared after about 30 minutes.

IP address

Used only for in-memory rate limiting to prevent abuse — never written to disk or persisted.

What we don't do

This site loads no analytics or ad-tracking scripts, sets no marketing cookies, and never sells user data.

Third-party services

This site relies on the following third parties, each processing data under their own privacy policies:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting
  • AI model service — processes descriptions and generates recommendations
  • Vercel — hosting and content delivery
  • Google — provides OAuth sign-in

A special note about health information

The symptoms you voluntarily describe may relate to your health. Please describe only what is relevant to relieving muscle soreness, and avoid entering unnecessary sensitive personal details. This site provides general stretching guidance, not medical advice; if you are injured or in persistent pain, please see a doctor.

Your rights

You may access, correct or delete the data linked to your account: email feedback9980@163.com and we will handle it within a reasonable time. Anonymous use leaves no persistent data — it is gone when you close the page, and you can clear your browser's site data at any time to remove local temporary copies. Signing out stops further collection of account data.

Data retention and security

Account data is kept until you request deletion; symptom descriptions are never stored and are used only transiently during processing. We protect data with HTTPS transport encryption and server-side access controls, but please understand that no internet environment is absolutely secure.

Minors

This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates are published on this page with a revised effective date; material changes will be announced on the site.
